SARTORIAL SANITY: I kind of want to be her...
Check out Erin Wasson's lookbook shots for the Scanlan & Theodore Spring/Summer 2011 collection. I especially enjoy the wolf - I'm pretty sure it's stuffed.
Miss Georgia May
With a set of lips that could only come from rocker dad, Mick Jagger, Georgia May Jagger is set to design a capsule line for Hudson Jeans called Hudson by Georgia May Jagger which is due to hit stores in the Spring of 2011. Quite the steamy ad campaign...

I'm with the band
If you thought leather and studs were "so last year," think again. The Vogue Spain November 2010 issue screamed, "I'm with the band." Spiked and studded leather biker jackets, gold mermaid sequin pants, tie clips and structured shoulders in black - who said glam rock was dead?

Fun house whimsy
I love this whimsical spread for the Vogue U.S. November issue. Its playful and a bit bizarre but this clown-ish "fun house" whimsy is portrayed with such chic, classic pieces - a tiered floral frock, silk gaucho pants paired with two-tone oxfords, a polka-dot full-romper and a voluminous creme maxi skirt.

The world traveler
I love this editorial by Zoltan Tombor for Grazi - it reminds me of a mix of film-stills between The Darjeeling Limited and Amelie. Model, Jovita Miseviciute perfectly plays this romantically chic vagabond character - calling nowhere in particular and the world her home.

My Shopping Cart: Net-A-Porter
So, I spend way more time than I should perusing my favorite online shopping destinations. Scouring pages upon pages for great deals and hidden finds, I thought I'd start sharing what's in my proverbial "shopping cart." Now, not every shopping cart addition leads to an actual transaction. I find it best to use the online "shopping cart" to let things simmer. Go back in a few days - a week, two weeks! - to see if these 'must have' items are still 'must haves.' Your opinions are greatly appreciated!
Kenneth Jay Lane necklace: I love the length of this piece and the fact that I can wear it with a low-V LBD to an evening event or with jeans and a slouchy white tee for day.
Carven sweater: I love high-waisted skirts (especially Miso0k's high-waisted knit skirts) and the idea of pairing this cropped sweater with a solid bright skirt is really tempting.
Somebody's watching
I love Aaron Basha's new "Evil Eye" collection. These baubles have such a fun design but are still sophisticated in their mysterious, watchful eye aesthetic. I can imagine pairing them with a few Pamela Love pieces to really give them that darker edge.

Poor marketing decision, if you ask me...
Check out Chloe Sevigny's new-ish fragrance campaign for Chloé. Because I am familiar with the Chloé font and perfume bottle, I know that Chloe Sevigny is the face of this scent rather than the brand, but to the average viewer, one may conclude that Chloe Sevigny produces her own perfume line named Chloé. An interesting (and I'm not sure so wise) decision on behalf of the Chloé marketing team.
