Rodarte for Target, thank you God!!

Pinch me please...Rodarte is doing a capsule line for Target, rejoice! The two designers behind the ridiculously chic and effortlessly cool namesake, Rodarte, are slated to launch their line for Target at select stores, December 20th. You know I will be first in line! From sweet lace and mesh dresses to hard-edge knits, I hope santa puts a few of these numbers under my tree.

T by Alex Wang

Too boxy, too slim, too long, too rough- the search for the ultimate tee isn't an easy one. But, my love, Alex Wang has solved this epic conundrum with his line of T's. The most luxurious cotton, Wang designs each T with up the most care on how it will hang on the woman's body. I love the racer-back tank with the low back and draping arm holes. Only problem: I'm trying to somehow justify spending $75 on a tank. I'd wear it ALL the time though, right?

Viscious cycle

So, I finally ravaged through my closet to weed out all of the warm weather clothes (that will only make me sad to look at during the cold months ahead) and boxed them up. Yay, more space! Which now, only makes me want to go shopping. Viscious cycle.

Also, opened up a new pack of those Tide hanger pendants- breathe in, mmm.

Nothing to wear?

More than ever, these past few weeks as we transition from summer to fall, I've walked into my closet with the hopeless feeling of having nothing to wear. Letting out groans as I enter this 4X5 space my clothes call home (seems small but in actuality is the reason why I chose my current apartment), my roommate responds with a "Nothing to wear?" I've been flipping through fashion mags trying to find inspiration but, it seems as though this season is so concentrated on the studded biker-chic look that if you don't have the key pieces you're S.O.L. Of course this is a lame excuse for any real problems that might be going on in my life, but for right now, I'll knowingly let it by my paramount annoyance.

Leifsdottir for Anthropologie presentation is a wonderland

The presentation of Leifsdottir for Anthropologie was like falling down the rabbit hole and stepping into this alternate universe that included live birds in cages dangling on ribbons from the ceiling, petite fours, pink champagne and ohhh the clothes! Two models entered the presentation at a time walking through the eden feeding the birds and watching the sunset with their vintage binoculars. A drastic change from the cold and wet New York that viewers hurried in from, the collection was all about floral patterns, rich colors and young, bold accessories. A definite excuse to get over to Anthropologie.
